Three Ways School

This sensory theatre is designed to stimulate pupils’ senses through sound, vibration and visual projection. The ellipsoidal room forms the centrepiece of the the school’s new buildings and enables staff to offer a rich and creative curriculum.

On site, the erection of the large, pre-cut plywood panels was straightforward, reducing the period of construction.

Momentum produced a 3D, CAD model of the structure to provide templates for the ribs and timber plates which were fed directly into the CNC machine to cut the timber.
